Job description

Our Client is seeking an experienced Marketing Communications Specialist.

The Marketing Communications Specialist will work with the Marketing Director to create and deliver internal and external communication programs to support initiatives and growth.
This position requires a well-rounded and experienced professional with proven abilities to execute marketing and communications strategies for multiple audiences.Qualified candidates will have demonstrated ability to write for various communications channels, including; press releases, web, intranet, marketing collateral, newsletters, email and social media. On and offline experience is required. Strong digital marketing experience will be considered a distinct advantage. Position requires a marketing degree, a minimum 8 years experience in marketing and excellent project management and written and oral communication skills.

Education:
Degree in marketing/communications.Those that have undertaken a formal digital marketing course will have a distinct advantage.

Work Experience:
Must have at least 8 years expereince.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and to collaborate in a team environment when needed.
Highly organized with proven ability to prioritize responsibilities, handle multiple deadlines, and be proactive and productive in a fast-paced work environment. Excellent writing skills/experience and attention to detail a must. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with a CRM program and web content management program (e.g. Drupal)
